Who We Are

     Not Forgotten 

We are a volunteer non-profit organization that is commitment in assisting 1st. Responder Families during tragic events. Relief4heroes WILL be there! We will provide HONOR Meals during the Funeral process in Honor of the fallen. We will visit the family periodically, letting the family know they and their loved one are NOT FORGOTTEN. We provide gift cards for family needs and an HONOR Meal. We will revisit the family on the 1st anniversary date and provide them with an HONOR Meal in remembrance of their loved one. For our Military Veterans and families and 1st. Responders families... we have teamed up with Camp Hero Kentucky to provide Emotional and Physical support. Even if it's just a getaway. Our friends with Dogs Helping Heroes, will help ALL 1st Responders and Veterans with service K-9's.

We believe through empathy and compassion change is possible when we put our hearts and minds to it.

Sean Franklin Founder / Executive Director

Sean's a lifelong public servant with 27 + years of service in Police, Fire, EMS and Telecommunications.

He is married to the love of his life for 5 years. They have 5 dogs and 2 horses and his amazing stepdaughter.  After retiring in 2017, he still wanted to serve his brother and sisters in the 1st. responder and Military community. He founded popsicles4police with the help of the Louisville Metro Police Foundation. He then branched out on his own and started this organization.

Rich LeMaster / Information Technology Chief Finance Officer

Rich is a driven and highly experienced senior program manager specializing in the mobile computing sector, with comprehensive expertise in program management, software and hardware installations, advanced troubleshooting, pre- and post-sales support, and account territory management. Applies diverse technical skills and a keen eye for quality to address issues and empower long-term program excellence. Leads complex client-facing implementation teams and projects, effectively aligning stakeholders via data-driven decisions. Proven success in assisting and supporting teams to fully understand how specific initiatives fit into the organization's overarching strategy and business goals.  Rich has since started his own business in website and graphics design and is helping out this organization by creating and maintaining this website to help with supporting the military and 1st responders.

Kevin Woosley / Chief Administration Officer

Kevin retired as an Administrator for The Kentucky State Police in 2020.

He returned to KSP as a contract employee to work with the Statewide Communications Division.

He is a Magistrate in Oldham County's 3rd District. Also sits on the Kentucky executive Council of the Association of Public-safety Communications Officials (APCO)

He's been married to his beautiful wife Melanie for 27 years. They have 2 sons attending college and they enjoy travelling and loving family.

Darin Priest / Executive Director of Veterans Affairs and Community Engagement

Darin is a Veteran who served 8 years for our great Nation. He worked as a Project Manager helping to start 2 Construction Companies. He's currently with Bartons 1792 Distillery. Darin is engaged to the love of his life and has 2 children under 11 years old. His spare time is spent with kids activities, hunting, fishing and watching sports. Darin is very passionate about helping 1st. Responders and Veterans.

Jason Logsdon / Director of Security and Safety

Jason has served the Louisville Metro Community for over 18 years. He is currently serving as

a Captain with Louisville Metro Corrections. He is also the Commander of their Honor Guard. He has held several positions over his career to include special task forces with local and federal agencies. He is currently a member of Supporting Heroes Memorial Team since 2016. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife and kids traveling. Staying fit and watching sports and their dogs.
